Behind the line Frolain appears Blanca Vi. A talented design entrepreneur whose continued success will be driven by her innate,raw talent. After studying Visual Arts at the University of Sagrado Corazón in Puerto Rico, she has held positions as art director and stylist for fashion show productions featuring La Perla and renowned Puerto Rican designer Stella Nolasco. She has since designed and produced garments and accessories for a number of theatrical productions, pop rock music videos, red carpets for such events like the Latin Grammys and many more, earning recognition that prepared her for the 2007 launch of her own line of hats and headpieces called Frolain. Blanca has sold her designs widely and been featured in reputable fashion magazines including infashion PR, Infashion Rep. Dom, Cosmopolitan and Ocean Drive. Her big scale headpieces and avant garde hats are featured in the 2009 Belgian film Meant to Be directed by Paul Breul .The first Frolain Collection, comprised of 10 hand-finiched pieces, were presented at a fashion show on December 20, 08. Blanca Viera’s designs provide both, headpieces and hats, that fresh and contemporary image, re-establishing them as staples of any well dressed woman’s wardrobe.Blanca’s inspiration not only comes from art, architecture and nature, she also looks at the modern woman for her creations at Frolain; A subtle, delicate woman, that is still edgy, strong and influenced by technology.
